Manicure Stations And All About Them

If and when you decide to open a nail salon?

A manicure station will probably be one of your most important tools you will need. The dictation of your entire theme is going to be your station. If you would like to have an up-market salon? Then it will be a top of the line manicure station that you will need to purchase, or! if you prefer the elegant feel, then maybe you would like to use antique furniture for your manicure station.

Also when ordering chairs, (which are very important for the comfort of your clients, and the height of your station) you will need to take extra care and attention when ordering them, you may choose leather or have them especially made, they could be high backed and elegant or antique, or you could choose theme but whatever you do choose the comfort is the most important of all.

But if you would prefer a salon that is a bit more basic for the mind of the client that is cost conscientious, then you may like to keep your nail station a bit more basic, as the tables basic appearance will affectively show that your prices are going to represent the absence of frills, and the basic lower cost tables will also allow you to save money, and savings could be pass on to your clients. Though I would highly recommend a lower cost table I would not recommend scrimping on the chairs.

Whatever decision that you decide to make on you station, there are some different, basic things that they will have in common, such as, the stations should be comfortable, also with comfortable seating, not only for the manicurist but also the client. A happy employee, will be a comfortable employee, as she will be sitting in that chair and station for many hours a day.
A comfortable employee is a happy employee. After all, she will be spending a lot of time at that manicure station, and if she is going to keep the clients coming back, she will need to be happy.
You will need also to keep supplies at your manicure station. At each station there should be a full set of manicure tools, this should include everything from emery boards to cuticle creams and lotions, to the actual polishes. The station should also have adequate storage for all of these necessary tools. There should also be enough drawers and shelves. Each station will need a counter top space for manicuring. Adequate lighting is also very important at each manicure station.

There should be a bowl for soaking the hands of the client; you may also have a wrist rest for the client. You can have a shared sink for all stations, or even the one in the restroom will do just fine. It is not necessary to have a separate sink for each manicure station. If you plan to have many stations in a nail only salon or just one manicure station in an all ready existing salon, space is very important and should be considered. The stations should have plenty of space between them and other beauty shop paraphernalia. Nothing is more uncomfortable or unattractive than a cramped space.
